ABOUT
Founded in February of 2024, by Melda Melly and Anadja Tamofo, Stillness In Selah began as a collaborative idea between two young women who had the common desire to build community through Christ in a unique way. The first official SIS meeting had 5 total attendees. Nearly 2 years later we are officially registered as. 501(3)(c) non-profit organization and currently serve more than 50 women across the DFW metroplex and virtually, and are growing our sisterhood each and every day. We hope to continue to grow and serve more of our sisters as time goes on.

I joined SIS as a member in May of 2024 and since then, I have developed a personal passion for achieving the SIS mission and vision. I soon joined the team as SIS as a Board Member where I specialized in Marketing Coordination. Currently, I serve as the Director of Strategic Planning and Communications, allowing me to utilize my background in Business Administration & Marketing to help achieve the goals of this organization.

I joined Stillness In Selah (SIS)
​
in March of 2024 when my sister invited me to what I thought was just a simple hang out with a few of her friends. As a younger sister, I naturally I jumped at the chance. My sister introduced me to the girls and we bonded almost immediately. As the Head of Hospitality/Outreach, I have gotten more and more connected with the community. I get to watch our community grow and encourage other women who are working on their own spiritual journey to connect with the organization. I’ve grown more and more passionate about encouraging people on their spiritual journey and to hopefully be able to make a difference in all aspects of their lives. I’m excited to use my creativity and compassion to support individuals.
